I am a planner junkie. I once spent 2 hours in a Franklin Covey store just looking. It was an orgasmic experience. When Target came out with the lower priced FC's I was in heaven. I have about 6 different binders, plus several spiral-bound. I only use one calender (I change binders and formats every year), but the other binders hold other things. I am writing a zine, so I put all the info in one. Another acts as kind of a reading log, books I want to read, books I have read. Another holds quotes. If my house was on fire, my planner would not be left behind. I've lost keys, money, my kid in a store, but I have never lost a planner. I pray that I never will. (I don't want to lose a kid again, but that's another post). I'm broke. It's only July, but I'm pretty sure that I will not have the money to buy my beloved planner pages. So instead of getting sad, I'm going to make my own. So I want to know from all you planner carriers out there, what are the favorite parts of your planners. What could you not live without? (I have to have line-pages to write notes). Do you prefer weekly, monthly or daily calenders? Have to have a To Do list? Tell me. Feed my fetish. ebonyblue@mindless.com

I am the worst housekeeper in the world. I hate to clean. I will let it get messed to a point where I just can't take it anymore then go on a cleaning rampage. These rampages don't happen as often as they should. But I think I finally have a system that's doable. So far I've kept it up for about 2 weeks now, which may not sound like much, but normally I quit after 2 days.
DAILY CHORES
Wash dishes
Make beds
Pick up living & dining rooms
Vacuum
WEEKLY
Monday--Change sheets, clean mirrors
Tuesday--Sweep & mop kitchen and bathroom
Wednesday--Clean desk, write notes (I don't want the art of letter writing to die), clean out purse
Thursday--Library day
Friday--Free
Saturday--Laundry
Sunday--Church
MONTHLY
Week 1--Clean refrigerator
Week 2--Clean TV area, straighten tapes and DVD's
Week 3--Vacuum baseboards and entry way
Week 4--Clean kitchen cabinets
It's easy and no big deal if I skip something. So what if I didn't clean my mirrors Monday. My desk is still clean from last week, so I'll do it today. I like it. I like it a lot.
